Feather Trees: Time Intensive
I'm embarking on a journey to create a 48" feather tree. I've hand-painted all the berries, purchased the feathers and special color floral tape and I've begun creating the branches. Due to the height, I'm questioning whether to make it in one piece or two. Shipping will be high for a one-piece tree and a two-piece tree is easier to store. Engineering this two-piece tree is another story. A little more research is required to see how to do it or to abandon the notion. What makes sense?
I always start with the longest branches first - the most time consuming branches! Then as I go up the tree, and start getting tired of making branches, it gets easier and easier. I found I'm much happier when it gets easier!
